Welcome to the Website for Wooly’s Mobile Farm. Wooly Farm has been serving Ireland for over 10 years, bringing our wonderful animals to all your events. We work hard as a team to provide our clients with the most educational and fun farm experience in their setting and we do this in a caring, friendly and fun way!

We also pledge that all our animals are treated with the same care and respect that you would expect from us and we adhere to our animal welfare policy stringently.

From our many years of experience facilitating a vast array of events in a vast array of settings, we are confident that we can adapt our farm to suit your needs. Our staff are provided extensive training in the areas of event organisation, health and safety, problem-solving, entertainment, customer care and animal care, so you and your guests can look forward to and enjoy a professional, fun and hassle-free event.

Interaction with animals that is both fun and educational

Your guests will not just be seeing the animals, they will get to interact with them in a fun way, as well as learning a little about them. Clients can groom, feed, lead and cuddle our beautiful animals. People are becoming more and more removed from nature and this can lead to children being afraid of the unfamiliar. We like to break down fears with the use of education and humour in all our shows and to support people to interact with the animals at whatever level they feel comfortable with.

Competent Animal Welfare And Care

We at Wooly Farm strongly believe in the 5 Freedoms of Animal Welfare. All our employees are animal lovers and are provided with extensive training in animal welfare, care and husbandry. Our animals are reared in a loving environment and are trained and closely vetted so that we only send animals to events whose personalities are suited to it. We specifically breed animals from the most docile breeds and start them off on smaller events till they get used to larger groups of people. It is our priority that all animals are healthy and happy at events, and if, as we care for and monitor them, we feel that they need a break we will take them to a quiet space to rest in.

Meet Farmer Al

Being a chatty, caring person, I was also drawn to Intellectual Disability Nursing, and caring for children and young adults in the Respite setting, was the perfect fit for me. I loved meeting new people, welcoming them, building therapeutic relationships, assisting them with activities, entertaining everyone and seeing that they were enjoying themselves. This is something that I still enjoy now in my role as an entertainer at events!

Having grown up on a farm, I’ve always had a deep love for animals. Even as a small child I was always dedicated to nursing sick animals back to health and was even found one morning sleeping out in the field with my pet sheep, having snuck out with my duvet wrapped around me!!! My love of animals and farming has only grown with time, and in 2011, I set up my own little sheep farm which I adore. I love having visitors to the farm and teaching them about farming and seeing them enjoy working with animals and getting involved with the farm work.

I look forward to sharing the joy that my animals bring me with you and to entertain you with my silly antics!

The staff were so good with the children, so patient, had so much time for everyone's questions. The excitement and cheering when the van pulled up was great! The staff in our ASD unit wanted me to pass on their thanks with how easy you made the visit to the ASD classes. They said it was so wonderful, your staff were so tuned in and so calm.
